Interior Designer (advertised 7/02/2025)
About the job
We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our architectural practice. Our ideal team member will be a detail oriented and collaborative professional with a proven ability to deliver creative, functional and technically considered interior design solutions across a broad range of sectors including education and commercial/workplace.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with the Architectural, documentation and operational teams.
- Develop design concepts under the guidance of the Project Leader
- Lead projects independently or as part of a team.
- Prepare, document, and refine drawings, details, and specifications.
- Contribute to key documentation package submission requirements with the design team.
- Select finishes and materials, from initial concepts to final FFE specifications.
- Contribute to building and managing interiors materials library.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, construction teams, and other stakeholders.
- Detail oriented approach to design, briefing and documentation.
- Development of concept visualisations such as renders
- Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
Mandatory Requirements – Skills & Experience
- Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- 5-6+ years of post-graduate experience – we are open to more experienced candidates (higher salary commensurate with experience)
- Experience in workplace and education projects (desired).
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD.
- Familiarity with BlueBeam Revu, Adobe Creative Studio, Twin Motion, Microsoft Word, and Excel highly regarded
- Understanding of Building Regulations, Australian Standards, and DDA requirements.
- Ability to align design objectives with construction documentation.
- Comprehensive interiors detailing and construction knowledge.
- Confidence in presenting designs to clients and stakeholder.

Experienced Architect
About the job
We are looking for an Experienced Architect to join our architectural practice. Our ideal team member will be a registered Architect with 8+ post graduate years’ experience who is an all-rounder in design, documentation and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with the Architectural, documentation and operational teams.
- Lead projects independently or as part of a team.
- Prepare, document, and refine drawings, details, schedules and specifications.
- Contribute to key documentation package submission requirements with the design team.
- Detail oriented approach to design, briefing, documentation, and specification.
- Manage client and consultant relationships, programs, budgets, and deliverables in line with fee and contract agreements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, construction teams, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to develop project reports, lead meetings and stakeholder engagement
- Development of concept visualisations such as renders
- Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
Mandatory Requirements – Skills & Experience
- Degree in Architecture
- Current ARBV Registration (registration number to be provided)
- 8+ years of post-graduate experience – we are open to more experienced candidates (higher salary commensurate with experience)
- Strong interest in documentation and interior design is beneficial
- Experience in workplace and education projects (desired).
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD.
- Familiarity with BlueBeam Revu, Adobe Creative Studio, Twin Motion, Microsoft Word, and Excel highly regarded
- Understanding of Building Regulations, Australian Standards, and DDA requirements.
- Ability to align design objectives with construction documentation.
- Comprehensive understanding of detailing and construction knowledge.
- Confidence in presenting designs to clients and stakeholder.
- Confidence to run projects including programming, task allocation and consultant coordination
