In April, we celebrated the official opening of the $15m Reservoir Police Station, by Police Minister Lisa Neville and Chief Commissioner Shane Patton. Wurundjeri-willam artist, Mandy Nicholson explained the inspiration behind her large-scale artwork that now graces the new station’s facade on Mahoneys Road. The screen is a symbol of partnership and reconciliation, and of connection between the police and the surrounding community.
Designed by Foreground Architecture (formerly FMSA Architecture), the new facility is a safe and secure environment, and a beacon for community welcome and wellbeing. Congratulations to our team led by Daniel Coomber.
