Federico Biamonti

With his particular passion for public architecture, Federico was drawn to Foreground’s broad civic and social capital improvements remit. A graduate of architecture studies in Italy, he joined the practice in mid-2021, having gained almost a decade’s experience in commercial, residential, education and multi-residential design in Australia.

Federico is known for his problem-solving optimism and for the creative energy he brings to collaborating teams. He has a strong grasp of design software and, with a keen systems focus, checks in regularly with the BIM team to maximise the potential of digital information sharing capabilities practice-wide.

A desire for challenge has played out as versatility working across various typologies within the practice. The projects Federico has taken greatest satisfaction from include those that drive equity of access and improve quality of life, like the Glenallen School therapy facilities upgrade and the renewal of Puckapunyal Primary School.
