Francesca Sanguinetti
Francesca’s background in fine art and science evidence an innate curiosity and balanced appreciation for creativity and analysis. She has advanced a strong portfolio of projects since joining Foreground in 2019 and credits pursuing purposeful designs for the community on realistic budgets as a keen professional driver.
Improving amenity, activating social spaces and promoting equity of access have been clear themes in the public sector projects she has contributed to. Designs have included St Albans East Primary School, Barwon Valley School, Benalla Police Station, and more recently various small works accessibility and maintenance works upgrades for the Victorian School Building Authority.
As an assistant teacher at Monash University in 2021 Francesca tested her leadership capabilities and maintained her connection to education-based research. In 2022, she co-designed “Riparian Repair,” the winning submission for the Committee for Melbourne’s Secret Garden Melbourne design ideas competition, and featured at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
