Ricki Fritz

As a Graphisoft ArchiCAD certified BIM Manager, Ricki has extensive experience managing culturally and technically diverse teams. An approachable, guiding force, he is committed to the pursuit of practice-wide systems that improve project efficiencies and consistency. He coordinates software audits and staff training in best practice documentation at Foreground, driving consistent protocols that ensure clear instructions for builders and secondary consultants working on the team’s projects.

Ricki joined the practice in 2021 after running his own 3D visualisation and design company in Malaysia for two decades. As a member of the Architects Association of Malaysia and BIM Committee member in Kuala Lumpur, he championed BIM uptake and environmentally sustainable design methods. With earlier accreditations in Green Building Index Facilitation in Malaysia and Green Star in Australia, Ricki was drawn to Foreground for its demonstration of socially and environmentally responsible designs.
