Stephen Nichols

Exercising his ability to balance close attention to detail with a panoramic view, Stephen is a valued member of the team on major projects at Foreground. Since 2014, he has documented and visualised significant developments for the practice’s clients, including the Karreenga Correctional Centre, the TasTAFE Trades and Water Centre of Excellence, and PICAC Narre Warren’s Net Zero Energy trade training facility.

Working with a strong team of people who encourage great work is a priority for Stephen. At Foreground, he appreciates opportunities to collaborate with inspiring project leads, and to bring to life the teams’ varied designs through careful documentation and faithful 3D visualisations.

Projects with strong sustainability principles and broader community impact are a particular joy for Stephen. As a qualified building designer, he enjoys the process of understanding the brief and translating early sketches into expertly documented designs that offer maximum user benefit.
