We successfully delivered a broad range of projects for Australia Post retail and delivery centre upgrades in the areas of Corporate Real Estate, Construction and Adaptation, the extensive portfolio ensuring our team has gained a detailed understanding of the operations of Australia Post mail distribution networks.
Foreground Architecture (formerly FMS Architecture) has provided architectural services for more than 35 Australia Post projects to date, including new buildings for postal services throughout Victoria, relocations, and the adaptation and modernisation of existing premises including Post Shops, Mail Delivery Centres, Letter and Parcel Centres and registered mail box banks.
We undertook project management, design and delivery of mail delivery centres across Victoria, from Ballarat to Braeside, Epping, Castlemaine, Cowes, Mansfield, Port Melbourne, Traralgon, Wangaratta, Warrnambool, Geelong, Grovedale and Yarrawonga. Also completed within the portfolio was the design of the Private Letter Box facility at 380 Bourke Street, to replace existing facilities housed within the GPO.
Our work has also involved new and refurbished facilities, including Post Offices at Cairnlea, Emerald, Mitcham, Mt. Eliza, Point Cook, Sorrento, Doncaster, Toorak Rd, South Yarra, Moonee Ponds, Sunbury and associated retail tenancies.
